This Kari Leaf Podi draws inspiration from the legendary vada pav chutney and brings in influences from other herbal podis found throughout southern India.
Kari leaves are toasted with coriander, Byadagi chilies, sesame seeds and Diaspora Co. Aranya Black Pepper and Naguari Cumin. We then grind all of this with fried garlic, jaggery and salt to create a one of a kind seasoning powder.
This Kari Leaf podi is best on rice, stir fries and popcorn, but really these flavors go well with everything!
